Who I am
My name is Joshua Sunners. Outside of my family and friends, Muay Thai is the single thing that I am most grateful for in life. Through my training I have reshaped my personality, had wild experiences and gained skills I never thought I would have. Moreover it has given me the opportunity to pass all this wealth on.
My Story
I found Martial arts when I was a bit lost, and it kept me sane. I started Muay Thai at 18 whilst living alone in Madrid, it introduced me to our beautiful community and allowed me to grow. This journey continued through The Canary Islands, the UK and even saw me live as a sponsored Fighter in Thailand for almost a year. I have been blessed to live stories that most people won't, to see the sides of people that are hidden and to play the most beautiful role in people's lives, that of a teacher.

I wholeheartedly love teaching and have taught a wide range of subjects (from academic to Muay Thai) to a wide range of ages and people. It is my passion to take everything I have experienced and translate it anyway I can.

Muay Thai is something anyone can pursue and be enriched by, no matter your background or where you are it is a transformative experience. To push your limits, to see what you can do or even to just enjoy the game. As someone who has fought all over I can tell you its the furthest thing from violence, something I'd be glad to help anyone see.

I'm BMABA certified and with nearly 10 years experience I have trained beginners to professional fighters. All whilst pursuing my own training and understanding the mental landscape of being a fighter and what it asks of you at each level.

Come, train with me and let me share my love of the sport with you.
